Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist Sydney

Dr Adeline Chan has supported women and their health for over 15 years and is a specialist obstetrician, gynaecologist and laparoscopic surgeon. She specialises in providing a holistic approach to women’s health. She is passionate in helping all women during pregnancy and beyond, providing a safe and comfortable birth environment for mom and baby. Dr Chan is committed to being available to attend to all births and emergencies.

 

Dr Chan completed her obstetrics & gynaecology specialty training in Sydney. She completed two years of Advanced Laparoscopic training prior to becoming a Fellow of RANZCOG. She is a staff specialist at Blacktown Hospital and runs the obstetric endocrine clinic. She gives back to the next generation by playing an active role in teaching medical students, junior doctors, midwives and other health professionals.

 

She specialises in high risk obstetrics including twins, diabetes, thyroid disease, VBAC, women of advanced maternal age and pregnant women with complex pre-existing conditions. She aims to provide to best evidence-based, compassionate and holistic care to all pregnant women and couples throughout their pregnancy and beyond.

 

Enjoying a balance of obstetrics and gynaecology, she has special interests in minimally invasive surgeries and endometriosis.

 

As a mother of two beautiful boys, she knows that every pregnancy is different and requires personalised care. She consults in a relaxed and friendly environment, where all women can feel free to discuss every aspect of their pregnancy and any concerns relating to women’s health. Together, she will support you in making the best possible decision, aiming to provide the best pregnancy and antenatal care for you and your baby.

 

Dr Chan’s practice is limited to a small number of patients at any one time to ensure you get the best possible care.

 

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys. She also set aside time to pursue other interests including exercising, cooking and trying her hand at baking.
